MOROCCAN SPICES has been operating now for over five years. The main purpose of MOROCCAN SPICES is still to provide exclusive, unique and authentic Moroccan cooking classes. The idea of this enterprise is to offer the people of Brisbane the genuine taste of Moroccan Cuisine: simple and rich like those tagines and specialties you eat in the High Atlas Mountains, at the edge of Moroccan Sahara Desert, or in Marrakech or in Fez...etc.

I tell my story as a Moroccan, teaching and talking about Moroccan cuisine, as I believe every genuine cuisine has a soul. Any non Moroccan chef can teach a few Moroccan dishes but they will never capture and transmit the essence of Moroccan Soul Food. We look forward to welcoming you to one of the most authentic and interesting Moroccan cooking classes in Queensland.

MOROCCAN SPICES provides both an introduction to cooking with the famous traditional Moroccan Tagine, how to use the essential ingredients you need to cook Moroccan food and elaborate, modern and creative approaches to Moroccan cuisine... The format of the classes is original; providing not only the basics of Moroccan Cuisine but also an understanding of Moroccan culture and history and helping people see how they can be creative with Moroccan ingredients.

I feel very lucky to belong to such a rich culture which has a lavish, elaborate and deceptively simple food history. I believe there is a story behind every person, just as there is a story behind every dish... The cooking classes are held in a very relaxing Queensland atmosphere, which in some way reminds me so much of Morocco, with its warm fragrant climate, palm trees and sunshine... etc
